|And is that a good thing? If they can't get a couple hundred bucks from every player each month, they are going to milk the couple that spend money. That's the way business operates. Comparing hearthstone (as was done in that video) to other f2p games simply isn't legitimate. It's made by blizzardand they have thousands and thousands of gamers in Maplestory M Mesos their own pocket to get WHATEVER they release.
On top of the fact it is so easy (and now on mobile) was made to get as many spenders as possible because"Oh it is just $2". That and locking entire sections of the match behind a paywall or enormous goldsink that will make the 20b items in your FM seem just like 5 meso price-mistakes makes IT more pay to win than even maple, when compounded with the 1 quest a day limitation meaning you must spend tens of hours to find enough gold for one arena visit if you don't drop the real cash on it or just play with only a handful of matches a day.
I believe they have done a good deal in the last year to improve it back to walnut however. The west is a exceptional phenomenon, although we have not felt the consequences in the west. Robots and hackers run rampant in literally EVERY match's western host, westerners are the largest purporters of RMT. But things like elites were meant to stabilize savings. As was the auction house but I am convinced nexon's got yet another horrible explanation as to why it is not in yet. Maybe with the world alliances. They heard them. Not nexon america, they're just after in KMS' footsteps and taking credit for listening, even though I love them for not messing with the patches (too much ...).
In short, no, I don't think maple is pay to win. Some people believe pay to win means being in a position to pay to get an advantage, even if it's available from the sport. That's their opinion, and hey, whatever. Don't blame a company for"milking" players, blame the players who happily throw off $5000 dollars to get legendary bud and incentive pot in a month. How can you NOT exploit that crowd, in case you've got it?The New'Maplestory M' is Rated N for Nostalgia.
